Options
At Winterton Community Academy, Year 9 pupils begin to explore their Key Stage 4 curriculum in the Spring term.
In Years 10 and 11, all pupils in the academy currently study a core curriculum:
- GCSE English Language
- GCSE English Literature
- GCSE Mathematics
- GCSE Science (Separates- Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Trilogy/Combined Science)
- Non-examination course in PSHE
- Non-examination course in PE
In addition to this core curriculum, all pupils must select three further subjects from a list which includes Art or Photography, French, Performing Arts or Drama, Geography, History, PE, Enterprise, Hospitality & Catering, Statistics and Health & Social Care.
