Student Information
The School Day
Students can gain access to the academy site in the morning from 08.00 hours until the gates close at 08:50 hours. The offical school day starts at 08.50 and finishes at 15.30 hours, a total of 6 hours 40 minutes in each each day.
A Breakfast Club runs from 08.15 to 08.45 hours in The Hub
The format of the school day is:
Period 1 – 8.50 – 9.40
Period 2 – 9.45 – 10.35
Break – 10.35 – 10.50
Period 3 – 10.50 – 11.40
Period 4 – 11.45 – 12.35
Lunch – 12.35 – 13.20
Tutor – 13.20 – 13.40
Period 5 – 13.45 – 14.35
Period 6 – 14.40 – 15.30
At the end of the day, gates open at 15.30 and close at 15.45 hours
In the Classroom
As part of your lesson routine, your equipment should be on the table at the start of every lesson.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary equipment with you each day.
The academy recommends a Casio fx series calculator. These can be purchased through the academy at a discounted cost, please contact reception for further information.
Breaks and Dinner Times
Water Fountain facilities are available at break and dinner times, students are encouraged to bring a reuseable plastic bottle for this purpose.
